Why Influence Higher Education?

Charles Malik, former President of the UN General Assembly, says “The universities…directly and indirectly, dominate the world; their influence is so pervasive and total that whatever problem afflicts them is bound to have far reaching repercussions throughout the entire fabric of Western Civilization.”

Our Response?
We believe there is an urgent call for spiritual leadership on our college campuses.
• to address an integrated student experience (academic, spiritual, social, physical)
• to encourage students to serve their campus community in creative ways
• to address concerns and needs of specific student groups (i.e., nontraditional, working, home educated, students athletes, two-year college, students with disabilities).
• to address thanklessness and student sense of entitlement on campuses
• to provide opportunities for students to engage, serve, and lead the campus & culture in true spirituality
• to include parents in bringing about positive change on campuses
• to emphasize God as the spiritual guide during college

What We’re Doing:
Small Things Initiative
Goal: To look for and cultivate small ways to serve others and to initiate small, consistent positive changes on campuses.

Noble Communication Initiative
Goal: To communicate encouraging messages of excellence and Bible-based wisdom to college students.

Servant-Leadership Initiative
Goal: To challenge students to be spiritual servant leaders on college campuses and to develop applied servant-leadership resources for college students.

Daniel Initiative
Goal: To find creative ways to encourage students to follow Daniel’s lead during college and live their higher calling.
